Ethics Awareness Month Comes to PRSA in September

September is Ethics Awareness Month at PRSA. Throughout the month, we’ll be featuring blog posts and commentary on public relations ethics, in addition to hosting Tweet chats at 3 p.m. EDT every Tuesday. Based around PRSA’s Code of Ethics, Ethics Awareness Month seeks to inform and educate the public relations profession about ongoing issues and concerns regarding public relations ethics.

Ethics Awareness Month kicks off Sept. 1 with a blog post from Deborah Silverman, Ph.D., APR, chair of PRSA’s Board of Ethics and Professional Standards, on the state of ethics in public relations. You can find a list of Ethics Month activities here.

Let us know in the comments below of any issues or topics you would like to see addressed during PRSA 2011 Ethics Month. And join us for September’s discussion about ethical standards in public relations.
